Back to School Basics: Favorite Dresses

Welcome Back to School Y’all!

I hope you are settling in well. I started last Wednesday and it's been crazy.

When I was brainstorming back to school posts, I thought it may be kind of fun to share with you the basics that form the bulk of my class wardrobe. I wore uniforms alll through my pre-college schooling, so basics are my happy place. They're easy to wear, versatile, and are the perfect foundation pieces.  I love all of these pieces and I hope you find something you love too!

My Favorite Dresses

I go to school about 20 minutes from Disneyland and it stays murderously hot through to Halloween (there's been a few years when I'm still wearing shorts the week of Thanksgiving!). I don't even want to think about pants for the first month of school but I also don't really like wearing shorts to class. Enter dresses; the floaty solution to my sticky problem.

School Bags I'm loving

School is starting soon, and as sad as I am about the end of summer, I'm excited about school supplies. Today I wanted to share with you a list of school bags that I'm loving this fall.

I have a 15.6" laptop, which is as big as it sounds. It's mega size makes it challenging to find cute bags to use for school, so I went on a quest to find cute and functional bags for this fall. I thought I'd share my findings with you:

Monthly Favorites: July

Long time no favorite, oops. May and June were crazy with finals and then I traveled all over the place. I feel like I'm just now slowing down and coming up for air. I have lots of things in store, including travel posts and some back to school tips and tricks.

Favorite Memory:

There was so much to love in July, but my favorite was our family trip to Sun Valley, Idaho. I'll be doing a long post specifically on the trip, but one of my favorite nights of the trip was the night we watched the ice show. I've always loved watching skaters and there is something so magical about watching incredibly talented people skate under the stars in such a relaxed setting.
